Right of withdrawal
Unless the agreement is exempt from the right of withdrawal, the buyer can cancel the purchase of the goods in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act.
The buyer must notify us of using the right of withdrawal within 14 days from the delivery date via kundeservice@husstudio.no, including a brief description of why the buyer regrets the purchase. The deadline includes all calendar days. If the deadline ends on a Saturday, holiday or bank holiday, the deadline is extended to the nearest working day.
The cancellation period starts to run:
- When purchasing individual items, the cancellation period will run from the day after the item(s) have been received.
- If the purchase consists of several deliveries, the cancellation period will run from the day after the last delivery has been received.
The withdrawal period is deemed to have been met if notification is sent before the end of the period. The buyer has the burden of proof that the right of withdrawal has been exercised, and the notification should therefore be made in writing (right of withdrawal form, e-mail or letter).
When using the right of withdrawal, the goods must be returned to the seller without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the notification of the use of the right of withdrawal being given. The buyer covers the direct costs of returning the item. There is no fee for the buyer's use of the right of withdrawal.
The goods must be in their original condition and packed in their original packaging when they are returned to the seller. When returning interior goods (for example, linen products, serving sets, hooks and etc.), the original packaging must not be used as outer packaging. The product must be in unchanged condition, for example not assembled if the product you ordered requires assembly, and not used. All accessories such as instructions for use, screws etc. must be included.
The buyer must remember that he or she is responsible for the item from the day he or she picks it up or has it delivered and until it is returned to the seller. Transport responsibility means that the buyer is responsible for the shipment returning undamaged to the seller. Therefore, the buyer must pack the goods extra well, so that they are not damaged in shipping.
The buyer can try or test the goods in a proper way to determine the nature, properties and function of the goods, without the right of withdrawal being lost, where the nature of the goods allows it. If the examination or testing of the goods goes beyond what is reasonable and necessary, the buyer may be held liable for any reduced value of the goods. For example, textile products such as linen textiles cannot be returned if there are visible signs of product use, such as stains, odors or damaged material.
The seller reserves the right to make a depreciation installment if the condition of the item has changed to such an extent that it can no longer be sold to another customer without making a discount on the sale price. The deduction is made from the total return amount before it is refunded to the buyer. The seller makes an assessment for each unique order regarding the size of the deduction, but the minimum installment is NOK 250.
Items that are specially ordered and manufactured to the buyer's specifications cannot be returned. This applies to goods that, for example, have choices for measurements, layouts, legs and the like.
The seller is obliged to repay the purchase price to the buyer without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from the seller receiving notification of the buyer's decision to exercise the right of withdrawal. The seller has the right to withhold payment until he has received the goods from the buyer, or until the buyer has submitted documentation that the goods have been sent back.
The purchase amount will be refunded to the same card or account that was used when the buyer completed the order, within 3-5 working days after the returned item is registered as received. A return confirmation is sent via e-mail.
Unclaimed packages
If the package is not collected within the deadline and the package is returned to the seller, the buyer will be charged a fee. The fee covers shipping costs to the buyer and back to the seller again, as well as the seller's handling of the case.
The buyer must pick up their parcel within 7 days at Delivery in Husstudio!
A fee of NOK 99 is charged for an undelivered package on the Delivery in Husstudio shipping option.
The buyer must remember that an undelivered parcel is not considered use of the right of withdrawal.
This also applies if the buyer has had free shipping on their order, as the seller must pay shipping costs for all packages that are sent/returned with Posten, Norgespakke and/or Bring.
If the buyer does not pick up the package at the post office within the specified date so that it is returned to the seller, the buyer will be charged a fee of NOK 250 as well as shipping and return costs for Posten, Norgespakke and/or Bring.
There is a separate return fee for fire pans and furniture (based on zones). The buyer does not receive an additional fee for goods that have been picked up and returned with a right of withdrawal form.
To exchange or return goods, the buyer must bring the order confirmation, as well as a completed right of withdrawal form.
